Fae's Tarot Fancies' Newsy Bits
Hello! Welcome back to Fae's Tarot Fancies! This month has whipped by so quickly. Where does the time go?

On a personal note, I have been ill and have not had the "brain power" to put together May's Newsletter on time. So, you will probably receive 2 issues this month!

Till next month, many Blessings to you,

Faerie Moon

Four of Pentacles
Let's take a look at the Four of Pentacles.

Some keywords that might work with this card are: greed, selfishness, miserliness.

Actions that may manifest as a result of this behavior can be:

  • wanting more possessions
  • not being able to enjoy the possessions one has
  • dissatifaction with personal possessions
  • holding too tightly to wealth
  • being miserly in body and spirit
  • unable to use material possessions to advantage
  • unable to value possessions properly
This type of behavior leads to a constant wanting of more and more material possessions. The unfortunate thing is that one never gets over the "wanting." No matter how much one has, it is not enough. This selfishness can lead to greed, lust, and covetousness.

The number Four suggests limitations. These limitations are part of the life lessons that greedy behaviors can lead to. Limitations can be environmental, physical, emotional, or in one's own paradigm. The lesson of number Four is to learn to live within and accept these restrictions.

Because this card is a Pentacle, an Earth sign, it may be a lesson that takes longer to learn and put into practice. One will recognize the growth of a personality by the physical manifestations. A person overcoming this obstacle will begin to take pleasure in sharing his possessions, finding ways of being of service to others, using possessions to benefit others, and the realization of other's contributions.

Free 3 Card Reading by Fae
Carla, our May free reading winner, has asked, "My lover has left me. I want to know if he will come back to me, with time." This is a sensitive question, and a familiar one to many of us. The answer is being read with the Tarot of a Moon Garden deck.

Carla, your reading begins with a Major Arcana card. This means that the answer to your question begins today, and is vitally important to your well-being. The cards are read from left to right, like a book. Death, Ace of Swords, and the Four of Swords.

The Death card is showing that an era of your life is over and that it is time for you to shed your cocoon, spread your wings, and fly into the next stage of your life. Your sweetheart has been an important part of your life, and has shared experiences with you that you may not have had without him. Cherish these experiences, hold them in your heart, learn from them, but don't grieve for them. It is a fact of life, even spiritual life, that soul-mates come and go. Refusal to accept this next stage of your life by holding on to the past will keep you stuck and missing the grand opportunities that await you!

The Ace of Swords is a card of power and authority. In your life, it represents the opportunity for you to help others. You are intelligent, and have a fine mind. You have a gift for cutting through the "noise" and reaching into the heart of the matter, when you are not distracted. Friends appreciate your clear-sighted thinking.

The Four of Swords is a reminder that you will need to take care of yourself emotionally. Make sure that you take time alone to refresh and regroup your internal resources. It would not do to allow yourself to become emotionally exhausted and vulnerable to stress or illness.

Relationships are one of the most delicate and valuable assets that we acquire in this world. And one of the most difficult lessons to learn is to let go when it is time. People come and go in our lives: friends move away; family dynamics change with each new baby, wedding, funeral, divorce, remarriage; lovers touch our lives and hearts; teachers introduce us to new concepts, etc. By letting go, we trust in the World to continue bringing us new experiences to enrich our lives.

Carla, you are invited to purchase a reading if you would like more detailed information.

Blessings,

Fae
